For the Scholars (What exactly is Drake's Hollow?)

Drake's Hollow transforms fantasy fans from spectators into protagonists through immersive tavern adventures where every guest influences the story alongside professional actors, collaborative challenges, and a richly realized world.

Drake's Hollow is an exclusive, ticketed pop-up experience coming to the Salt Lake area. We transform standard venues into fully realized, living high-fantasy taverns complete with actors to bring the setting to life.

This is not a passive dinner theater, nor is it a chaotic free-for-all. Through what we call Theatrical Hospitality, our roaming cast of professional actors (bards, rogues, warriors, and tavern keepers) provides the atmosphere and optional interactive quests designed to make you and your companions feel like the main characters of your own fantasy novel.

Our cast won't just perform from a distant stage. They will slide into your booth to flirt, banter, and challenge you to games of wits. As you decipher hidden maps or whisper passwords to cloaked informants, you might even find yourself teaming up with other tables, forging real-life friendships as you solve quests together.

We built Drake's Hollow for a very specific community. If you belong to any of the following guilds, you are exactly who we are looking for:

• Cosplayers, LARPers & Renaissance Faire Enthusiasts: If you own a cloak, a corset, or a suit of armor and hate that you only get to wear it once a year at a convention, consider this your official excuse to gear up on a random night. Not to mention, all the magic of the Ren fair with none of the crowds, dust, or sun burns.

• The Romantasy & BookTok Crowd: If your shelves are lined with special edition fantasy novels, you fantasize about meeting your favorite charming fantasy leads, or you have always wanted to drink mead in a room that looks straight out of your favorite book, this is your sanctuary.

• Tabletop Gamers & Critical Role Fans: Whether you roll dice in Dungeons & Dragons, Daggerheart, or World of Darkness, this is an environment where you can finally step out from behind the character sheet and live the campaign.

• Experiential Seekers: If you are tired of sterile bar scenes and boring nights out, and you want to actively participate in a living story rather than just staring at your phone, your table is waiting.

What to expect when our doors open:

• Immersive Atmosphere: Set design, lighting, and ambient music that completely masks the modern world.

• Thematic Drinks: A curated menu of elixirs and specialty beverages (both alcoholic and non-alcoholic) available for purchase.

• Interactive Storytelling: Optional tabletop games, puzzles, and quests that put you at the center of the narrative.

• A Welcoming Haven: Cosplay and adventuring gear are highly encouraged, but everyday clothing is completely welcome too. This is a place where you can come either as you are or as someone you've always wanted to be. Our tavern is inter-planner so heroes from all realms are welcome.
